Description

The 1906 Fund serves as a restricted, memorial fund to be used to create tools that support the museum’s ongoing efforts to recognize and highlight our community’s diversity and its voices.
We are currently working to add information to our permanent exhibits regarding the 1906 lynching on Springfield’s city square.  It is important that this devastating story be told and the lost lives of Fred Coker, Horace Duncan, and William Allen be remembered.

You’re welcome to make a secure donation online or by mailing a check made payable to the History Museum on the Square, PO Box 2963, Springfield, MO 65801. History Museum on the Square is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and gifts are tax-deductible as prescribed by law.
