Deeply Rooted: Stories of Missouri Farming
Deeply Rooted: Stories of Missouri Farming celebrates Missouri’s agricultural heritage and the people – past and present – who bring food to our tables. The exhibit covers a wide range of topics from prehistoric agriculture to modern roof-top gardens and the joys and heartbreak of the industry.
A local component with illustrations, artifacts, multimedia, and text panels is planned to share the Southwest Missouri region’s stories.
This original display was produced by the Missouri State Museum in Jefferson City, Missouri. This exhibit was funded by the parks, soils, and water sales tax. The Missouri State Museum is part of Missouri State Parks, a division of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
Included in General Admission.
