Choose Your Volunteer Experience
Gallery Docent |(opens in new tab)|||| Year-round, fixed schedule.
Engage guests while they explore the museum by answering questions and sharing information
Collections & Archives |(opens in new tab)|||| P Project-based, fixed schedule.*
Assist the Collections & Exhibits Manager with processing collections, exhibit installation and deinstallation, and research.
Education |(opens in new tab)|||| Year-round and seasonal, fixed schedule.
Guide students during field trips, support programs, and assist with educational content and curriculum building.
Tour Guide |(opens in new tab)|||| (opens in new tab) Seasonal.
Learn and lead tours, including museum, walking, and bus tours for a variety of ages and subjects.
*Project-based volunteer opportunities are on a first-come, first-served basis and may be subject to a separate interview and training process.
