Thanks to a generous grant from the the Melinda J. McDaniel Charitable Trust, UW, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee, the History Museum on the Square is offering field trip scholarships to help students from across Southwest Missouri access our museum and educational programming.

This scholarship program is designed to support schools, educators, and homeschool groups who would not otherwise be able to afford admission and program fees. Scholarship funds are only available for field trips prior to June 30, 2026.

Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis. Funds are limited and will be awarded until they are exhausted. All applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks before your requested field trip date. Approved applicants will receive a follow-up email within 5 business days.   • Transportation grants are limited and available only for rural schools. If yes, please provide more info in the next field. Transportation stipends will be awarded up to $200.
