Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more paying visitors. Groups visiting the History Museum on the Square require a minimum of three days' notice. If you are looking for an experience beyond a group trip to the museum, the History Museum on the Square offers tours and presentations. For special presentations and tours, two-week notice is requested to ensure a guide or presenter is available.

Want to discover the history of Springfield where it happened? Let us board your bus and take you on a trip around greater downtown Springfield! From the comfort of your seat, take in the landmarks and beautiful historic buildings while listening to engaging stories about the history of Springfield. The tour begins and ends near the History Museum on the Square and lasts about 45-minutes.

This one-mile, one-hour walking tour begins and ends at the History Museum on the Square.
