Once Upon A Christmas Past Exhibit At The History Museum
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Since 2013, History Museum on the Square has created magical window displays for our community to enjoy. For decades, visiting the amazing décor designed by beloved department stores on Springfield’s Square was a family tradition for visitors of all ages and the History Museum on the Square is keeping this tradition alive. This year we have seven holiday “Windows on the Square” and feature a vintage Christmas décor exhibit inside the museum’s Voices of History gallery.
The exhibit opens Saturday, November 21st and the windows will be available for viewing after dark on Saturday, November 21st as part of the Mayor’s Tree Lighting. Both the exhibit and window displays will run through January 10th, 2021. The windows are available for viewing each day from 8 am to midnight and are best viewed at night. The exhibit is included with museum admission. Once Upon a Christmas Past is sponsored by the McQueary Family and Waverly House Gifts & Gallery.
