Haunted History Walking Tours – Two Weekends Only!

The History Museum on the Square is thrilled to announce the eagerly anticipated return of the Haunted History Walking/Bus Tours, an experience that unveils the history behind downtown’s haunts. These tours promise to captivate audiences of all ages, shedding light on true crime, alleged hauntings, and chilling stories that have become a part of Springfield’s folklore. 

Walking Tours will run for two weekends only! Fridays and Saturdays at 5:30 pm.

Friday and Saturday, October 23 & 24 and October 30 & 31, 2026.

Bus Tour will be one evening, Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5:30 pm.

Prices:  Haunted History Walking Tour – Members/Patrons $20.00 per person and Non-Members $25.00 per person.

Haunted Bus Tour – Members/Patrons $35.00 per person and Non-Members $40.00 per person

All tours will start at the History Museum on the Square.

Walking Tours will enter the Historic Fox Theatre, travel through downtown and enter the Calaboose and end the tour at Tabak Co.

The Bus tour also visits the Fox Theatre, and then drives attendees through the downtown area, Commercial Street and Drury University expanding on stories beyond the walking tour route.
